Leadership NOW!

Leadership NOW! is a leadership program that exists to engage, support, and mobilize young professionals as meaningful members of our community. LNOW! trains them in leadership skills and civic-mindedness, and plugs them into the life and leadership of the Pikes Peak region. LNOW! runs from August to December.

If you are a young professional who wants to be plugged into the community, to know what is going on and how to affect it, to lead effectively as an individual and as part of a group, to make the Pikes Peak region a better place, then Leadership NOW! is for you.

Leadership NOW! uses the best in current leadership thinking and application to help young professionals, in their 20s and early 30s, finish the program well equipped to lead. We call it Leadership NOW! for exactly that reason–because LNOW! graduates are given the knowledge, skills, and relationships to be civic leadersnow.

Leadership NOW! is not an academic course. It is an opportunity to combine your motivation with leadership practices and civic knowledge for personal and group impact.

The program accomplishes this with a combination of training and exercises, visits to key organizations, meetings with effective leaders, and group projects that provide real strategic assistance to local nonprofits and agencies. As with everything at Leadership Pikes Peak, our goal isn’t just to make you a better civic leader–it is to make you a better civic leader here and now.

"The LNOW! program is a great way to meet and work with young, motivated professionals that are always moving and seeking new challenges. This program is a cohesive blend of leadership, education, and team work that prepares you for a more active and purposeful community presence".

"LNOW helped me learn about myself and how I can be an effective contributing member to our Colorado Springs community.  It has invigorated me to be a more involved member who contributes to our beautiful city".

"LNOW created friendships, peer mentorship, and delved into self reflection. I would recommend this program to all my millennial friends".
