Each year, Leadership Pikes Peak honors four outstanding community leaders. These leaders dedicate their time building a thriving community through leadership and service. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of these amazing leaders.
The luncheon will include a delicious lunch, keynote address by Kyle Hybl of the El Pomar Foundation, celebration of our four awardees, and an opportunity to meet and mingle with other community leaders.
Luncheon Keynote Speaker
Kyle H. Hybl currently serves as Trustee, President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for El Pomar Foundation and General Counsel for The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kyle Hybl also serves as a Director and General Counsel to The Garden City Company.
In 2012, Mr. Hybl was re-elected from Colorado’s 5th Congressional District to serve a second six year term as Regent to the University of Colorado System. Mr. Hybl served as Chairman of the Board of Regents from 2010-2012 and from 2014-2016.
Mr. Hybl serves as Chairman of Police Foundation of Colorado Springs and serves on the Board of Directors and as Corporate Secretary for Junior Achievement USA. He also serves on the Board of Directors for American Council of Young Political Leaders, Mountain States Employers Council, Broadmoor World Arena, Hundred Club of Colorado Springs, and Air Force Academy Foundation. He serves on the Alliance for Charitable Reform steering group. He is also a member of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys and is a citizen advisor for the Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership. Recently, Mr. Hybl was appointed to the National Cybersecurity Center Board of Directors and the board of Exponential Impact.
Kyle Hybl is a former Air Force Captain and Judge Advocate. Mr. Hybl is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he received both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees. He and his wife, Sally, have four children.
