Leadership Pikes Peak has been producing outstanding leaders in the region for over 30 years. See which of our world-class leadership programs is right for you!
For Experienced Professionals
Founded in 1979, the Signature Program is our flagship leadership program. It takes experienced professionals from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors and sets them up for community leadership. Over 10 months from August to the following June, participants learn about the most important issues facing the Pikes Peak region, and meet and learn from the community’s most dynamic leaders.
For Young Professionals
Leadership NOW! exists to engage, support, and mobilize young professionals as meaningful members of our community. LNOW! trains participants in leadership skills, helps them model civic spirit and effective teamwork, and plugs them into the life and leadership of the Pikes Peak region. This leadership program is the pipeline for tomorrow’s senior leadership. LNOW! runs from August to December.
The Women’s Community Leadership Initiative (WCLI) offers up to 30 women the chance to unlock their potential to make a difference; through knowing their community better, meeting community leaders and understanding local channels of decision-making, and practicing and refining their own leadership skills. WCLI is open to women of diverse backgrounds and is offered in the spring.
For High School Students
The Leading Edge is designed to provide high school juniors and seniors with leadership skills and with the knowledge and connections to empower them to get involved and make a difference in their community. This fall semester leadership program introduces them to the skills, concepts, organizations, and people that can form a foundation for a lifetime of civic engagement.
